Back from holiday and there’s a chance to look at things afresh before everything gets busy again. There are music gigs with Cauldstane Slap, and individual flute tutorials, too. The next big Cauldstane Slap gig is on Friday 13th August during the Festival of Peace and Spirituality, which takes place alongside the main Edinburgh Festival.
I’m also putting together a web site that details my music leader activities and hope to add more content to The Flow.
If I add to that side projects and longer-term goals, the summer begins to look quite short.
What seems to be clear though is that there continues to be interest in flute playing and creative music opportunities, which keeps me motivated and inspired. It’s certainly good to have positive experiences when the dark clouds continue to build on the economic horizon.
