Cauldstane Slap upcoming show

Cauldstane Slap at the One World CaféI’ll be playing with Cauldstane Slap on Friday 13th August at the One World Café at St. John’s at the west end of Princes Street in Edinburgh.

Cauldstane Slap are an Edinburgh band featuring Scots song and Irish and Scots tunes. This is a rare appearance for us in our home town.

See the poster for more details.

During the performance there is an opportunity to sample fine organic and Fair Trade food, making it a feast for hearts, minds, feet and soul.

The band lineup is Gordon Turnbull (flute, whistles, vocals), Cathy Sharp (fiddle), Duncan McInnes (uillean pipes, whistles, vocals), Robert Chalmers (concertina, mandolin) and special guests Andy May (vocals, bodhrán, whistles) and Sean Paul Newman (guitar, vocals). There are plans for another guest too, which promises to make it a night to remember.

The show is part of the Festival of Spirituality and Peace, which is one of the many festivals that run alongside the main Edinburgh Festival and Fringe during August.

Hope to see you there!
